Margarita's Cantina is my second favorite place in Wichita for Tex-Mex food. The service is always good, the food is good, and the price is okay. Really, it's a little pricey, in my opinion. Every time we've been there, it was a good place to have a quiet chat while eating. We've never been there when the band was playing or when the place was busy, since what we wanted was a quiet place to talk, and it has yet to disappoint in that regard. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of, especially because you can get to the side street behind it if Douglas is busy. Overall, reliably good food and service.

I use to love going to this restaurant. However, A few years ago I took my parents while they were in town. All of us received chicken that was really dry. We suspected that it was leftover turkey from thanksgiving because it was nearly a week prior. It took years for me to go back. Last night I tried to take a friend who was in town for the weekend. We got there at about 8:50. There were plenty of tables available, but the host told is we would have to wait ten minutes to be seated for dinner and that there would be a five dollar cover to be seated. We left, and I will never return. And I will never recommend this place.

A favorite restaurant that has live music on weekends. Very good Mexican menu, friendly customer service, areas to accommodate large groups & Lotus plays a wide range of cover songs. Good memories have been made at Margaritas Cantina.

Great place to hang out for lunch or dinner. The food is good, the music is great. It is appealing to people over 40 especially with the music choices from 70s on. They have two levels, a dance floor and live music on the weekend. It is family friendly, but appropriate for dating as well. I love their chips and salsa, the drinks are always crispy cold. I definitely recommend this place. The prices are fair, not too pricey, but not low budget.
